Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking CSCS Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CSCS card and will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site to ensure the smooth operation of construction activities. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with their tasks, including but not limited to bricklaying, carpentry, and plumbing.
- Carry out general labouring duties such as loading and unloading materials, cleaning work areas, and maintaining site cleanliness.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Operate basic tools and machinery as required, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Support the team in achieving project deadlines by being punctual and reliable.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card is essential.
- Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A proactive approach to health and safety practices on-site.
